Maroubra Surfers Association Round Three report

 

Conditions: Clean 1-2 foot SE swell with little wind.
Cloudy with light rain throughout most of the day
 

Contest area: Stormy to 50 metres south of Stormy on a good little bank.

 

The Barbecue was fired up with Bangers, bacon and egg rolls on the menu. Thank you to all the master chefs for the nutritional servings.

 

Due to the small surf we have only contested Micro, Cadet and Junior Divisions. Cadets started the day and made the best of the small conditions that allowed a reasonably high wave count for competitors during the day.
 

Well done to all and especially the Micros. Supported by Mums & Dads braving it out in the winter conditions.

 

Play of the day goes to the boys displaying their multi talents with a cordial drinking contest using no hands.
